Macolighting is a research and development centre for various lighting brands. The brand I was primarily in charge of was Ektor, a leading competitor in the emergency lighting industry. Our clients consisted of contractors looking for an emergency lighting system suitable for their commercial building project. Our artworks were to be used by our sales representatives who explained our products to existing and potential clients. We also worked with stores specialising in commercial lighting.
A lot of the work was very detailed and technically heavy, meaning close work with the electric engineer team. The biggest challenge was to represent the data given by engineers into an easy to understand manner. This included the specifications as well as the installation instructions.
